Outfit of the Day. Easter edition.

Ever since I was a little girl I have always looked forward to Easter Sunday and carefully planned out my Easter dress in advance. It was always really important to my Mom and Dad that we wear our best on Easter Sunday.

{Please excuse the remodel mess shown in this pic}

Outfit of the day. Cayman Style.

Layover on the way home. Perfect time to update my outfits from the trip. I actually did well on this trip and only packed what I needed to get by. Unheard of for me.

I can't wait to post some trip photos. We had a really great trip. Lots of great snorkeling, dining, family time and shopping. (have to fit the shopping in there somewhere) I'll get to all of that in a different post. For now, outfits!

Juicy Couture Maxi dress, J.Crew bib necklace, Tory Burch Ali sandals (not pictured)

It was a great trip. Will update with trip photos soon! Happy Spring. It is a cold day in Austin, Texas. Hopefully you are getting warmer weather than we are.

Outfit of the day 3.6

Wedding today. Total comfort all the while rocking my most recent obsession: Colored leopard.

Diane Von Furstenberg Vintage leopard dress. AA Leggings. Madewell riding boots. F21 Necklace.

Who knew a pocket would come in so handy? At one point today I had 2 sets of keys, cash, 2 business cards and 1 iPhone loaded up in these pockets.

Things I'm loving: Colored leopard

No secret to anyone that knows me... I adore leopard. I love incorporating it in my wardrobe. Heck, I even incorporated it in my wedding.

Anyway, lately I have been loving leopard print with a colored twist. Adds a little spunk.

Here are some looks I am loving:

See my colored leopard look in my next post.

Outfit of the day and new shoes.

I'm not really a "shoe person" but, a new pair every once in a while is so nice. Espesh, when they are a bargain. And, leopard.

A subtle leopard piece is really necessary in any closet as far as I'm concerned. Check out my new flats.

I can already tell I'm going to wear these out.

The whole outfit: Nanette Lepore top. Banana Republic belt. 7FAMK Roxanne skinny jeans. Ellen Tracy leopard flats.

Things I'm loving: Navy Blue

I love navy in fashion and interior design. It's a timeless color that you really can't go wrong with that is really popping up a lot in the interior design wor. I personally don't have enough of it in my life.

Here are some navy things I am lusting over that might be inspiring to you.

Navy cabinets? Genius!
Confession: I have on multiple occasions been tempted to try this out in our current kitchen. hmmm.....

I adore this bedroom set-up. I have it filed away in my favorites to emulate one day.

Other ways to add Navy touches to your home:

These are on my immediate wish-list.
Louboutin: check.
Bootie: Check.
Navy: Check.

Alice and Olivia Skirt and Rebecca Taylor blouse:

Ralph Lauren bikini (will need to make it into my suit case for our trip to the Caymans):

And my current toe-nail color and new fave:

Riding boots and a dress?

I pretty much pair my new Madewell riding boots with anything they remotely go with. They are so comfy and I highly recommend! Here paired with F21 dress and Gap cardi (last year) and black Wolford's, of course. Boots via.
